Oh, should I be sleeping?
Sophia has been doing this thing lately, where she'll get out of bed after we put her down for the night (usually around 8:30) and go lay by the door (which we have closed). Sometimes we'll hear her playing with toys, so we'll have to put her back in bed. Lately, there have been times where she'll turn on her light as well.
Last night I came home late (9:30 or so) from a meeting, and noticed this as I pulled up to the house.
Turns out Jen was on the phone in our room (other room with lights on). My first thought was "oh, she's playing with her toys and Jen has no idea!" Funny. However, when I went into her room, she was half-asleep by the door. No toys, just fell asleep with the lights on.
Turns out she just wanted a kiss from Daddy before she went down for the night.
