Burt’s Pumpkin Farm
Last Saturday we went to Burt's Pumpkin Farm. We made it out to Burt's this time last year to take some pictures of Sophia and really enjoyed it. So, we thought we would make a morning of it (even though it's only 30 min from our house) and do the whole Burt's Experience. Grandma V came with us, also!
Thankfully, the weather held out and, even though it was a little cold, we had a great time! We took some pictures, rode the hayride, and picked out a pumpkin. Now, we're thinking this may be an annual event!
Big and Chonky
I meant to write 'chonky'. We don't call her chunky, because we feel she is a chunk--so we call her "CHONKY"!
Olivia had her regularly scheduled checkup last week (10/14). She weighs 16.9 lbs (90 percentile) and is 25 inches tall. She got 4 immunizations, and held up really well!

Cumming Country Fair and Festival
Last night (Sunday) we went to the Cumming Country Fair and Festival. Thankfully the weather held up, and we were able to go with the Mechwarts for a few hours. Living in the area for 15 years or so, I was surprised that I had never been before. We were excited to take the girls as well... and knew that Sophie would have a good time on some of the smaller rides. We would definitely go again!

It’s Party Time!
On Saturday we were able to throw Sophia her 2nd birthday bash! We were able to have it at my parents' clubhouse (newly renovated... looked nice!) and have friends and family join us in the fun. Jen did an awesome job decorating and Sophia looked stylish as always! We hope everyone had a fun time!

Sophia turned 2 on Friday! Here was a recap of her day!

Sophia started her morning with Breakfast in Bed! Mmmm... (Grapes, Eggies, and French Toast.... and a Smoothie! aka "Moonie")

After breakfast, a little playtime with her sis!

Later in the morning, we took her to her first (of many!) art classes. She was in a parent/tot class with 6-7 other little munchkins, and she got to color, paint and design her own piece of art work. She loved it!

After art class, we took her to get her bangs cut at Pigtails & Crewcuts. She wanted to make sure she was stylin' and profilin' for her big party the next day!

After coming home for lunch and an afternoon nap, we took her to the playground to release some of her 2-year old energy!

To top off the day, we went to Jim 'N Nicks BBQ for her birthday dinner (it was her choice, we promise)!
Mountain Rest, SC
Last weekend we were able to get away for a few days in Mountain Rest, SC. It was about an hour and a half drive (90 miles) from our house -- pretty much where Georgia/South Carolina/North Carolina all merge together. We 'retreated' with some friends of ours (the Doziers) and enjoyed some R&R and fun times!
