First Haircut
On Tuesday we took Sophie to get her first haircut. Well, it ended up being a "Bangs cut". We found a cute place near the Avenues called Pigtails & Crewcuts that catered to young kids. It had couches, toys, TV screens playing movies, and lots of other things for kids to do while they waited/got their haircut. In the end, we think Sophie enjoyed the Dum-Dum lollipop the most!
LeAnne’s Wedding in Savannah!
Last weekend we had the privilege of traveling to Savannah for Mike and LeAnne's wedding. LeAnne has been a dear friend of ours since college (she was Jen's Maid of Honor in our wedding). In fact, I've actually known LeAnne longer than Jen has! In any event, the wedding was great and the whole wedding-weekend was a lot of fun! Sophie stayed with the grandparents over the weekend and had a blast seeing everyone

Jen, LeAnne, and Becca (LeAnne's sister)

Us at reception -- we missed Soph, but had a fun time with Olivia!
Elise and Sophie
The other week, Danielle and her daughter Elise came over to see Olivia and hang out with Jen and Sophie. They had fun--swimming in the pool, playing around the house, and enjoying the toys! Here is a picture of Elise and Sophie enjoying the kiddie-pool!
Mastering the Art of the Swaddle
It had been a while since we swaddled Soph. In fact, Soph always seemed to squiggle her way out of the swaddle. But... Olivia seems to enjoy the tight burrito wrap!
And, of course, here's another cute picture from my phone!
Two Week Appointment
Olivia had her two week appointment the other day, and boy-she's definitely not wanting for food! She has well exceeded her birth weight (she is now 8 lbs, 11 oz) and is now 21 1/2 inches long. It's only been two weeks, but our precious angel is growing up already!
Probably Not A Good Thing
Not sure what prompted this, but I showed her this one day and now she'll bust it out every once in a while. Probably not a good thing...
Fun Weekend!

Here is Sophia telling Olivia how to survive her first bath!

We took the girls to the playground at the outlets so Sophia could run around a little bit. Afterwards, Sophia enjoyed an Icee (and yes, she enjoyed my Icee!).

Sophia getting some fun news: we surprised her with this kitchen set last night! Thanks to some friends from church, Sophia is sure to enjoy this set for a long time!
Sophia’s Excellent Adventures
How could we forget our 19, nearly 20, month-old little princess! Here are some of her little adventures this past week (during Olivia's first few days at the house). Be sure to click each picture to enlarge it!

Thanks to Kevin and Kimberly for letting us borrow this outdoor play gym -- Soph is loving it!

While at Lolo and Lola's house on Saturday, I was going to take Sophia to the neighborhood pool. But... I forgot her swimsuit at the house. Seeing that their pool was European-styled, I decided the neighborhood playgound would do. Here Sophia is going down the BIG slide!

This is why they say "What happens at Lolo's, stays at Lolo's".

Right before our neighbor (two doors down) moved a couple weeks back, they gave Sophia a small outdoor pool! On Sunday she went in for the first time--we know she is going to enjoy the brief "dips" during the hot Georgia summers!
