Hot Wheels

We picked up a little purchase from someone off craigslist yesterday. We cleaned it off, and took Soph for a ride! She loves it!

New Room, New Bed

We are at 12 nights and counting. Sophia graduated to her “big girl bed” on Friday, 4/10. We decided to do it a little earlier with the new baby coming next month. We felt like it would be easier for her to transition to a twin bed without a new baby crying during the middle of the night. And… she has done great! The first night after we put her down to bed, she got up almost immediately and started playing with her toys. We went back in, put her down, and she stayed in her bed all night. She hasn’t gotten up since! As soon as we put her down (approx 8:30 pm), she’ll stay in her bed until she wakes up in the morning (appox 7:00 am). Here is a picture of Soph enjoying her new digs:

Easter 2009

Happy Resurrection Sunday! This past Sunday we had a full Easter day. After going to church in the morning, we went over to my parent’s house for lunch. We ate lunch, took some pictures, and Soph even had a little Easter egg hunt. Later that afternoon, Jen’s parents came over to our house and Jen whipped some amazing chicken pot pie for dinner. All in all, we had a fun day!
